Beneficiaries

2026 Beneficiaries

Each calendar year, AARC members choose a pair of local charities that benefit from both of our races. Our 2026 beneficiaries were the Wissahickon Valley Boys & Girls Club and Students Run Philly Style. Our 2027 beneficiaries will be announced soon.

2026 Beneficiary

Wissahickon Valley Boys & Girls Club

“To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”

The Wissahickon Valley Boys & Girls Club serves children and teens between the ages of 6 and 18, offering nearly 50 different recreational activities each year — from soccer and basketball to photography, art, and character-building programs. Their Summer Camp hosts hundreds of children each week, and their Project Learn program provides afterschool homework assistance at all facilities.

2026 Beneficiary

Students Run Philly Style

“Transforming students' lives through running and mentorship.”

Students Run Philly Style pairs volunteer mentors with teams of students to inspire them to push themselves further than they ever imagined — all the way to the finish line of a full or half marathon. The courage, support, and thrill of that achievement results in a student who knows anything is possible.
